Lesson notes in.Parent-readyupdates out.

LessonBrief turns the rough notes you jot after a lesson into parent updates, homework, weak-topic summaries and next-lesson plans — in seconds. Drafts are built on our own server from your notes, so nothing is sent to an outside AI service. Every one is a draft you review before it goes out.

Parent update

Hi,

A quick note to let you know how J.B.'s latest lesson on Maths — Fractions went.

In this session we worked on:
- Recap fractions: fine adding same denominator.
- ~3/4 of practice questions right.

These are the areas we'll keep working on — nothing unusual for this stage:
- Common denominators.

A couple of other things worth mentioning:
- Keen, a little rushed near the end.

Do let me know if you'd like to chat any of this through — always happy to.

Best wishes,
Your tutor

How it works

Three steps, about a minute

  1. Step 1: Jot down the lesson

A few rough lines — what you covered, what went well, what to work on.

  2. Step 2: Pick an output

Parent update, homework, weak-topic summary or a next-lesson plan.

  3. Step 3: Review and send

Read the draft, tweak anything, copy it across. You stay in control.

Questions

Good things to know

Still unsure about something? Email us — a real person reads it.

Will this replace what I do?

No. LessonBrief drafts the admin; you review, edit and send. It speeds up the writing — your judgement and your relationship with the family stay yours.

Is my students' data safe?

It's built for data minimisation. Use initials or nicknames, never enter sensitive details, and only you can see your students' data. You can export or delete everything at any time.

How accurate are the drafts?

Right now every draft is assembled by LessonBrief’s own template engine, on our own server, from the notes you give — nothing is invented and nothing is sent to any outside AI service. Thin notes make a short, honest draft rather than padding, and you always review before sending. (If optional AI drafting is switched on in future, the model is instructed to use your notes alone.)

What does it cost?

Everything is free during early access — no card required. If paid plans arrive later they’ll be announced clearly and priced fairly, and your data stays yours either way.

Ready when you are

Spend less time writing admin, more time teaching.

Free, and you’re in straight away — no confirmation email, no card. Turn tonight’s lesson notes into a parent update before you close your laptop.
